SUPing With Kids: a Special Father's Day Instagram Takeover

In honor of Father’s Day weekend, one of the raddest dads we know, Shane Donogh, took over our Instagram account, inspiring us to SUP with our kids. Here's a recap for those of you who were too busy enjoying Father's Day to watch the takeover in real time

An evening downriver paddle with the boys on the Snoqualmie River on the Rapidz 1138. I’m really thankful to have grown up playing on this same river, and now I get to experience it all over again through their eyes. [SEE ORIGINAL POST ON IG]

My oldest son Kelly and I bushwhacking our way to a sphagnum moss bog in the hills above our hometown. Hard to get to and strange places are always rewarding to paddle and makes the exploring that much more fun for both of us! [SEE ORIGINAL POST ON IG]

Exploring on a sunny, but cold, winter day. Kelly’s wearing his 2 piece wetsuit underneath some fleece layers to keep him plenty warm. [SEE ORIGINAL POST ON IG]

Hauling boards and 60 pounds of gear up a snow covered hill to go camp in the snow and below freezing temps for 3 days on Ross Lake in the North Cascades. Totally worth it. Remote places are my favorite places to be and I’m constantly scheming of how I can come back here with the kids so they can make some memories in these special places. [SEE ORIGINAL POST ON IG]

Snacks are an important part of SUP’n with kids! I always bring “cookies” (Cliff bars) for the kids to snack on as we cruise down the river. Here, Kelly’s in charge of doling out the treats between him and his younger brother Wyatt. [SEE ORIGINAL POST ON IG]
