CONTENT MARKETING STRATEGIST

Under the general supervision of the Marketing Manager, you will provide support in the strategy and execution of editorial brand awareness and engagement plans for our social media, email marketing, brand ambassador program, and other digital marketing efforts.

This role communicates and engages with all members of the internal team, while interacting with consumers through social media and email marketing. Additionally, this position will work closely with the brand ambassador program; focusing on recruitment, management and communication efforts. In this role, you will also manage logistics and content creation for photo and video shoots. These shoots are generally in the water on a boat, or in the backcountry when snowing. The key to success in this position is to consistently interact with the product development team, marketing, and creative development while providing best in class marketing assets and programs.

As a Content Marketing Strategist, a typical week might look something like this:

  • Design and execute a content strategy that drives high engagement and ROI.
  • Serve as social media lead, while proactively developing and executing tailored social media plans aligned with specific business objectives. This includes; running organic social media campaigns, monitoring messages and creating content with our brand ambassador program.
  • Execute the paid social media program and oversee the budget.
  • Work with internal stakeholders on the planning and development of new email launches, including template design, list growth, list segmentation, A/B testing, quality control and analytics.
  • Manage and optimize email-welcome workflows and all automated series.
  • Develop and manage the content map that displays existing content assets.
  • Analyze both social media and email marketing campaign performance and suggest improvements, while providing consistent reporting on outcomes.
  • Execute and build upon brand ambassador program.
  • Attend photo and video shoots to capture social media content, while assisting marketing and product development for planned executions.

In this role, you will work within a team that has a solid background in the outdoor and collegiate/professional sports industry to help support you, but ultimately, you will be charged with creating an innovative program that is in-line with the brand vision and direction of the company. You will have access to three graphic designers, photographers and a handful of product design specialists to assist your creative development.

  • 2+ years of experience in social, email and other digital marketing platforms.
  • Excellent copywriting skills required – ability to tell the Airhead and Yukon Charlie’s brand story.
  • Exceptional project management skills with the proven ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines with strong attention to detail.
  • Must understand the paid social media experience – how to design, execute, analyze and optimize a campaign.
  • Understanding of Google Analytics, WordPress, Shopify, Hootsuite and Mailchimp is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively on a team, cross functionally and independently.

DESIGNER AND PHOTOGRAPHER

The Marketing department mixes creativity and teamwork to design products and marketing materials that are visually stunning, verbally profound and strategically sound. As a Designer you support the team by creating and delivering visual solutions for the page, the screen, the store, and the product portfolio. You will also play a key role in our photoshoots, which include on the water and in the snow, as well as shaping our brand development. You take direction well and swiftly juggle many priorities. You are always checking that the i’s are dotted and the t’s are crossed. You are willing to help out wherever is needed. In essence, you are a motivated future Creative all-star who supports the execution of project work for the customers and the team.

As a Designer, a typical week might look something like this:

  • Design the aesthetics of our new products and packaging ranging from towable tubes, wakesurf boards, PFDs, snowshoes and sleds
  • Join forces with our Director of Marketing and entire team as we implement new branding and also have the opportunity to develop brand guidelines for some of our existing brands
  • Create a catalog or buyer’s guide for our brand portfolio
  • Outline a new email template or social campaign with the Content Marketing Strategist
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager and design team on a creative campaign concept that could include signage, flyers, mailers, print ads, web banners, social media and email
  • Assist in the planning of one of our many photoshoots, including vision boards, shoot schedule and post-production editing and asset management
  • Work in partnership with other members of the marketing creative team, Art Director and Senior Designer, on a variety of tasks with a positive and can-do attitude

This job might be right for you if:

  • At least 1-3 years of design experience.
  • Extensive knowledge and use of graphic design software (Adobe CC, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • Basic understanding of the principles and elements of graphic design (line, shape, texture, space, size, value, color, balance/symmetry, rhythm/repetition, emphasis, unity, movement, proportion/scale, page layout, color theory, typography, etc.).
  • Background in photography including shooting, Lightroom and photo editing.
  • Familiarity with the design process (research, thumbnail, rough, comps, and final production).
  • General knowledge of digital and traditional marketing services.
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines.

Warehouse Order Puller/Picker

We are looking for Experienced Warehouse Order Pullers - Under general supervision of the warehouse supervisors or other supervisory/management-level positions within the company, you will be responsible for performing a variety of warehouse-related duties such as preparing orders for shipment by picking items from shelves and placing them on pallets and ensuring that orders are filled accurately and efficiently continually striving for improved customer satisfaction.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Primary duties include outbound shipping of customer orders by pulling items from shelves and placing/stacking them on pallets for staging/shipment using RF scanners and paper.
  • Operates electric/manual pallet jack to assemble orders and delivers to staging area in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Maintains a clean work area to help ensure that merchandise remains clean and to help prevent work related injuries.
  • Complies with all appropriate policies procedures safety rules and DEA regulations.
  • Must be able to work overtime when necessary and participate in physical inventory.
  • Have a good overall understanding of warehouse workflow and can work with minimal guidance.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to read and understand the English language for the purpose of comparing and reading product descriptions names and shelf labels.
  • Must possess basic mathematical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with others.
  • Strong organizational skills; detail oriented.
  • Ability to use good judgment in order to carry out detailed instructions.
  • Experience/ability to operate manual/electric equipment such as pallet jacks, etc.
  • Previous warehouse experience preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age to work in the warehouse.
  • Maintain appropriate attendance standards.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

Warehouse Reach Truck Or Stand Up Forklift Operator

We are looking for Experienced Warehouse Reach Truck Operators - Under general supervision of the warehouse supervisors or other supervisory/management-level positions within the company, you will be responsible for performing a variety of warehouse-related duties such as receiving, storage of goods and replenishment ensuring that products are accurately and efficiently shelved, continually striving for improved customer satisfaction.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Verifies merchandise received against receiving documents notes and reports discrepancies and any obvious damages.
  • Stocks shelves with various types of merchandise using RF scanner.
  • Rotates stock so that newly-received items can be used last.
  • Processes and returns merchandise to proper shelf in the warehouse.
  • Performs daily counting and researching of discrepancies.
  • Assists with inventory procedures as requested.
  • Maintains a clean work area to help ensure that merchandise remains clean and to help prevent work related injuries.
  • Complies with all appropriate policies procedures safety rules and DEA regulations.
  • Must be able to work overtime when necessary and participate in physical inventory.
  • Have a good overall understanding of warehouse workflow and can work with minimal guidance.
